Every member of our staff brings unique strengths and a shared passion for compassionate, personalized care. We work together to ensure every pet that walks through our doors receives attentive, low-stress care tailored to their needs.
Our veterinarians and support staff take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment for both pets and their people. We use gentle handling techniques to help animals feel safe and at ease — especially those who are anxious, aging, or have special medical needs. While we are not fear-free certified, we follow many similar principles, prioritizing emotional well-being with thoughtful restraint methods, minimal use of muzzles, and extra patience for nervous or senior pets.

Our Veterinarians
Dr. Deanna Rodriguez
DVM, CVSMT
As a 2009 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Rodriguez brings over a decade of veterinary experience to our practice. In 2012, she earned certification from the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association, allowing her to integrate animal chiropractic into her treatment plans. Passionate about educating pet owners, she focuses on improving the quality of life through preventive care and client collaboration. Dr. Rodriguez also volunteers with a local animal shelter, offering medical support to animals in transition.
At home, she shares her life with her husband Billy, two playful dogs — Bentley the Golden Retriever and Samson the Husky mix — and four cats, including Maggie May, Devlyn, and Casa.
Dr. Paige Miller
VMD
Dr. Miller graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2013 and spent over ten years working in equine veterinary medicine. With her transition to small animal care, she brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of animal physiology and preventive health. Dr. Miller is excited to build long-term relationships with families in the Manlius community. In her free time, she enjoys long walks with her two dogs, Penny and Mr. Bingley, and relaxing with video games or a good soccer match.
Dr. Camryn Lawton
DVM
Dr. Camryn Lawton’s journey into veterinary medicine began at Manlius Veterinary Hospital while she was still in high school, where she worked as a kennel attendant and later as a veterinary assistant. During that time, she assisted with appointments and patient care and developed a deep passion for the profession after seeing the meaningful impact veterinarians have on pets and the families who love them.
Dr. Lawton earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, completing her clinical year at the University of Florida.
During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Lawton gained valuable hands-on experience working at a small animal and exotics clinic, where she assisted with surgical procedures, appointments, and the care of hospitalized and boarding patients. These experiences helped strengthen her clinical skills and her dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Lawton enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves exploring the outdoors with her island dog, Prada.

Britt has been part of the MVH family since 2013. She is an animal lover who is passionate about helping animals in any way possible. Brittany has two wonderful Pitt mixes named Molly and Ralph, as well as a “happy accident” kitty named HBCee. In her free time, Britt likes to spend time outside with her friends and her animals.

Jess joined our team in 2021 after earning her Veterinary Technology degree from SUNY Canton in 2020. She has a particular interest in radiology and patient care. At home, Jess is surrounded by a large, pet-loving family and enjoys kayaking, bowling, and planning future travel adventures.
Caitlin
I have been working in the veterinary field for over 12 years, with experience in both general practice and emergency medicine. I am passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient and supporting their families throughout their pets’ healthcare journey. My lifelong love of animals began at an early age, caring for a wide variety of pets, and continues today with my dog, Zoey, and my two cats, Maverick and Oliver. Outside of work, I enjoy baking, crafting, and spending time outdoors.
Kieran
I’ve grown up around small and large animals my entire life and knew I wanted a career surrounding that. I worked in a doggie daycare and training facility during and after high school. I had thought that I had the passion to be a dog trainer. I was given the opportunity to shadow at a vets office during this time and I realized that I wanted to work in the veterinary medical field. I wanted to take everything I learned as a trainer and find a way to apply it to veterinary medicine as well. I am currently working on becoming and LVT. I really feel that I have found my calling!
I am happily married with a houseful of animals; 4 dogs, and a few too many cats, though enough love to go around for all. I really enjoy true crime podcasts in my spare time, or playing video games with one (or two) of my cats in my lap, or behind me on the couch.
Amanda
Amanda has been in the veterinary field for 15 years. She is a mother to one son and many fur babies. She has a special interest in exotics. Enjoys art, nature, reading, and spending time with family. She is currently working on becoming an LVT.

Gwen has been a part of our front desk team since 2019. She’s known for making every client feel welcome and informed. In her spare time, Gwen enjoys crafting, including sewing, crocheting, and paper art, as well as skydiving and traveling.

Adriana has been with MVH since 2019 and is known for her warm, calm approach with pets and their owners. She grew up around animals and is passionate about helping them thrive. Outside the clinic, she enjoys reading, painting, and spending time with her dogs Zeke and Charlie.

Kennel Assistant
Natalie joined us after graduating from Chittenango High School in 2021. She’s passionate about animals and dedicated to their comfort and safety during their time at MVH. She shares her home with two beloved Labradors and loves getting to know every pet who walks through our doors.
Lyndsay
Lyndsay has joined the team in the beginning of the year 2026. She previously groomed dogs/cats for a couple years and decided that the animal field is right for her. She treats each of the dogs here as her own and always puts their comfort first. When she’s not at the clinic she is relaxing at home, or going on adventures with her pug Lily.
