Pet Information

Thank you for entrusting the care of your furry family member to Manlius Veterinary Hospital. While you are away, we are proud to be able to provide them with excellent care during their stay.

The staff at Manlius Veterinary Hospital does everything we can to minimize stress during boarding. This includes the choice of feeding your pet's own food, keeping their boarding areas as quiet and peaceful as possible, long walks outside three or more times per day, and personalized attention. In spite of this, it is very common for animals to experience decreased appetite and stress diarrhea while boarding.

If diarrhea occurs, your pet will be examined by a veterinarian. At the veterinarian's discretion, your pet may be prescribed a temporary diet change and/or a short course of medication during the remainder of their stay with us. There is no additional charge for these services, and you will be informed at the time of pick up.
